Pskovgeokabel Ltd. was founded in 1996. The main area of activity of the enterprise is the design and batch production of a wide range of armoured carrying logging cables.
The high quality of our products is explained by the use of advanced special-purpose equipment developed both by our own experts and foreign companies. Our range of purpose-designed equipment, special tools and accessories allows us to manufacture all the elements of cable of any complexity within a single technological cycle and single production site.
The enterprise employs competent engineering and technical personnel who have both scientific expertise and great hands-on experience. Since we have a design department, a department of innovative technologies and our own production facilities our enterprise can resolve any technological problems within a short time, from introducing new products to creating unique equipment, including production lines. This is confirmed by the number of Russian Federation patents we hold in the area of cable products and equipment.

The automated system of manufacturing process monitoring and control developed by our specialists has allowed us to transfer the entire manufacturing process – from the purchase of raw materials to the settlement of accounts – to a modern computerized record-keeping system based on relational databases. This system continuously logs the manufacturing processes of all the basic production equipment in real time, monitors deviations from specified parameters, and sends the data to the databases, which store the information about finished and semi-finished products, acceptance tests and goods dispatched.
The carrying logging cable made by Pskovgeokabel is certified as compliant with the national standard of the Russian Federation GOST R 51978-2002 "Armoured logging carrying cables. General specifications."
The enterprise has its own "Test and Certification Centre" which uses unique testing equipment and experts from various fields and areas to test the logging cables and wires in conditions close to the operating environment. Another task of this Centre is the testing and application of the newest materials offered by domestic and foreign manufacturers and advanced technologies.
Aside from the types of logging cable presented in our product range we can also design and manufacture special-purpose cables at the customer's request.
