These wires are designed for fixed placing in lighting and power networks of electric installations, and for installation of electric equipment and machinery with a nominal voltage up to 450 V (for networks of 450 / 750 V) at up to 400 Hz or up to 1000 V DC.

The conductor is made of copper wires (PV 1, PV 3, PV 4 and PPV wire types) or aluminium wires (APV and APPV wire types).

Insulation – flexible polyvinylchloride.
